A PoE (Power over Ethernet) switch is a type of network switch that provides the ability to supply electrical power to PoE-compatible devices. The PoE standard allows the transmission of electrical power and data via one Ethernet cable. The PoE switch has special ports that can supply PoE power to devices such as IP surveillance cameras or video intercoms.

A PoE extender is a device that allows you to extend the PoE range, enabling the operation of devices located at a greater distance from the switch. One port in the device can be used to receive power from another PoE switch and forward this power to devices. This solution is particularly useful in the case of IP monitoring, where cameras can be deployed over a larger area and at the same time require PoE power supply and a stable network connection.

The switch has a port in the 802.3 bt standard. This port allows you to power receivers with increased power consumption of up to 60W.

The advanced feature monitors the PoE device's network connection to see if it is active. When connecting a device powered by PoE, the AI ​​function will reset this device in the event of a failure to restore device functionality.

The switch has high-class surge protection up to 6 kV and ESD protection up to 8 kV, which can briefly connect the overvoltage to ground, thus protecting the rest of the system. Such surges can be caused by a variety of factors, including lightning, power grid surges, and induced voltages in circuits.
