Ierīce darbojas ar baterijām (iekļauts komplektā), parastā lietošanā akumulatoram vajadzētu darboties apmēram 1-2 gadus.

ZigBee protokola pamati.

ZigBee protokols darbojas 2,4 GHz frekvencē, kas labi izplatās ēkās

ZigBee savienojamība ir MESH savienojamība, kas nozīmē, ka katra ZigBee ierīce darbojas kā relejs citām ierīcēm. Ja tālvadības sensoram nav sakaru ar ZigBee vārteju, pietiek ar to, ka tam ir radio sakari ar citu ZigBee ierīci, kurai ir sakari ar vārteju. Ierīces darbojas tīkla savienojumu ķēdē, kas nodrošina savienojuma uzticamību un noteiktību.

ZigBee ierīces un sensori patērē ļoti maz enerģijas, kas nodrošina ilgu akumulatora darbības laiku.

WiFi tīklā ar 25 ierīcēm sāks rasties tīkla problēmas. ZigBee centrmezglam varat viegli pievienot vairāk nekā 50 ierīces.

Ierīces, kas izmanto ZigBee protokolu, pieslēdzas vadības panelim 0,2 sekundēs, mainoties to statusam. Pēc statusa maiņas WiFi ierīcēm ir nepieciešamas apmēram 5 sekundes, lai izveidotu savienojumu ar WiFi tīklu. ZigBee ierīcēm ir milzīgas priekšrocības, kad runa ir par viedo noteikumu automatizāciju.

Lielākā daļa konfigurēto ZigBee ierīču automatizācijas tiek veiktas lokālajā vārtejā, nevis mākonī. Tipisks noteikums: ja tiek konstatēta kustība (PIR sensors), ieslēdziet gaismu. Izpildes laiks ir aptuveni 0,5 sekundes. Tā paša noteikuma izpildes laiks WiFi ierīcēs ir aptuveni 3-7 sekundes.

ZigBee vārteja un ZigBee ierīces ļauj daudz plašāk un ilgāk uzglabāt parametru datus un ierīces vēsturi. Durvju atvēršanas vēsture, temperatūras vēsture, kustības noteikšanas vēsture saglabāta pirms mēnešiem.

Uz tālvadības pultīm virs gaismas diodes ir smalki punktiņi, kas norāda tālvadības pults kanāla numuru. Neaizpildītie punkti iekšpusē norāda pogu savienošanai pārī ar TUYA ZigBee 3.0 vārteju.
