SmartWise’s wireless wall switch uses Bluetooth (eWeLink-Remote) technology for remote control of compatible devices, and is a useful accessory for latest generation of eWeLink devices, equipped with ESP32 WiFi + Bluetooth chipset.
It can be used to control (turn on/off) eWeLink devices with eWeLink-Remote (Bluetooth) receiver.
The Bluetooth Low Energy-based eWeLink-Remote technology offers a much larger(two or three times bigger) range than the 433MHz RF technology, it can reach devices as far as 70-80 meters (in an outdoor environment).
The product is compatible with the following devices:
- SmartWise S1W (WiFi + Bluetooth) smart socket,
- SmartWise Mini BT 16A (WiFi+Bluetooth) relay,
- and more to come.
The wireless switch is NOT compatible with Sonoff devices featuringeWeLink-Remote HUB function, so it is not compatible with Sonoff Mini R3, and the new Sonoff smart bulbs with Bluetooth hub feature.
This wireless Bluetooth switch operates with a 27A battery. (Battery is not included with the product.)
