Return conditions

Buyers (consumers) of the online store www.smarteg.lv have the right to cancel the contract of sale and purchase of goods without giving any reason by notifying the Seller in writing within 14 days of delivery or collection of the goods. The Buyer is responsible for the assembly, packaging and delivery of the goods to the Seller.

Goods may be returned to I Smart, SIA by sending them together with a completed return note, debit invoice or delivery note, specifying the details of the shipment to.
If you choose to use postal or courier services, the seller does not cover the postage costs of sending the goods.

When returning goods to I Smart, SIA, you must already present the purchase document: delivery note or invoice.

Upon receipt of the returned product and upon evaluation of its condition, the Seller shall return the money paid for the product to the Buyer within 14 days. In the event of a return, the delivery charge shall not be refunded.

The product must be returned in its original, neat packaging (with instructions and warranty card if these were supplied with the product). The buyer is responsible for the entire set of returned goods. If the goods are not complete, the Seller has the right not to accept the returned goods.

The Buyer’s right to withdraw from the contract of sale concluded with the Seller does not apply to:

  • contracts for goods made to the consumer’s specific instructions and which have been manufactured in accordance with the consumer’s personal choice or instructions and for goods which have been expressly tailored to the consumer’s personal needs;
  • contracts for perishable or temporary goods;
    contracts for packaged goods which are unpacked after delivery and which cannot be returned for health or hygiene reasons;
  • contracts for goods which, by their very nature, are inextricably combined with other goods after delivery;
  • contracts for packaged video or audio recordings or packaged software which are unpacked after delivery;
  • contracts for the supply of newspapers, periodicals or magazines, other than contracts for subscriptions to these publications.
