It allows you to control and dim single-color dimmable LED lamps, traditional incandescent lamps and halogen lamps. The dimmer is designed for installation without a neutral cable in the box.
It can be controlled using the popular and free Tuya Smart application, which allows you to remotely turn on/off the lights, adjust brightness, set schedules, or create scenes.
With 256 levels of smooth dimming from 0 to 100%, you can easily set the perfect brightness level.
The dimmer also offers a decay time of 3 seconds, which ensures smooth transitions when turning the lights on and off.
Attention! The dimmer is compatible with remote controls and other SD series devices ("SD Series" in the name)
Main advantages:
- Control using the free and popular Tuya Smart application from anywhere in the world
- Can be used for older installations without neutral cable in the box
- Compatible with the Philips HUE app
- Possibility to connect an SD series RF remote control/panel
- Advanced dimming options
- Voice Control -The dimmer supports voice control via Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.
- Ability to set schedules and scenes
- Overheating and overload protection -The dimmer will turn off if it detects excessive heat or load, and will automatically restore power when the temperature or load returns to a safe level.
Compatibility and security
The T901 is compatible with the following load types:
- Dimmable LED lamps
- Incandescent lighting
- HV halogen lamps
The maximum load supported by the dimmer depends on the voltage:
200W at 220V, 100W at 110V
400W at 220V, 200W at 110V
The dimmer meets EMC and safety standards, including ETSI EN 301 489-1 V2.2.3, ETSI EN 301 489-17 V3.2.4 and EN 62368-1:2020+A11:2020. It has CE and EMC certificates. The operating temperature range is from -20°C to +55°C, and the maximum housing temperature is +85°C. The dimmer has an IP20 protection rating.
Installation
Attention!
- Installation must be performed by a qualified electrician.
- Before connecting the power supply, carefully ensure that all wire connections and polarity are correct and secured, otherwise the dimmer may be damaged.
- Before starting the installation, make sure the power is turned off.
- Remove the existing switch or dimmer from the wall junction box.
- Connect the AC input and output wires to the appropriate terminals of the dimmer (L and L1).
- If you are using an AC push switch for control, connect the switch wires to terminals A1 and A2.
- Securely attach the dimmer inside the wall junction box with the supplied mounting clip.
- Restore power and test the dimmer to ensure it is working properly.

System connection
Basics of the ZigBee protocol:
- The ZigBee protocol operates on the 2.4 GHz frequency, which propagates well in buildings
- ZigBee connectivity is MESH connectivity, which means that each ZigBee device with full L+N power works as a signal amplifier for other devices. If a remote sensor does not have communication with the ZigBee gateway, it is enough that it has radio communication with another ZigBee device with full L+N power that has communication with the gateway (up to a maximum of 3 devices). The devices work in a mesh chain of connections, which ensures reliability and certainty of the connection
- Devices using the ZigBee protocol connect to the control panel in 0.2 seconds in the event of a state change, and WiFi needs about 5 seconds to connect to the network after a state change. ZigBee devices have a huge advantage when it comes to automating smart rules
- On a WiFi network with 25 devices you will start to experience network problems. You can easily add over 50 devices to the ZigBee hub
- The ZigBee gateway and ZigBee devices allow for much wider and longer storage of parameter data and device history. Door opening history, temperature history, motion detection history saved months ago
- ZigBee communication consumes very little energy, which gives a long battery life.
