It works by emitting microwave waves that are reflected from the object and return to the sensor. Based on the analysis of returning waves, the sensor can detect:

• presence of an object,even when the object is not moving
• distance of the object from the radar

The waves penetrate materials such as glass, plastic or plasterboard, thanks to which the sensor will detect, for example, a person in the shower cabin and will not turn off the light in the bathroom.

There are already over half a million different smart devices supported by Tuya technology. The application is available in many languages, both in Polish. It allows you to connect products via any communication protocol, from Wifi to Bluetooth to ZigBee.

For more demanding users, Tuya offers a cloud service for an additional fee, thanks to which all device registry will be stored remotely in the cloud, which will increase your security.

Basics of the ZigBee protocol:

• The ZigBee protocol operates on the 2.4 GHz frequency, which propagates well in buildings
• ZigBee connectivity is MESH connectivity, which means that each ZigBee device with full L+N power works as a signal amplifier for other devices. If a remote sensor does not have communication with the ZigBee gateway, it is enough that it has radio communication with another ZigBee device with full L+N power that has communication with the gateway (up to a maximum of 3 devices). The devices work in a mesh chain of connections, which ensures reliability and certainty of the connection
• Devices using the ZigBee protocol connect to the control panel in 0.2 seconds in the event of a state change, and WiFi needs about 5 seconds to connect to the network after a state change. ZigBee devices have a huge advantage when it comes to automating smart rules
• On a WiFi network with 25 devices you will start to experience network issues. You can easily add over 50 devices to the ZigBee hub
• The ZigBee gateway and ZigBee devices allow for much wider and longer storage of parameter data and device history. Door opening history, temperature history, motion detection history saved months ago
