Smart Switch 1 Channel Optional N Wire KT Series ZigBee Tuya

The Smart Wall Switch allows users to remotely turn on and off one connected lighting circuit from anywhere from the TUYA app. Automation at specific times is also possible, which you configure from the application level.

The switch can be used for newer installations (with an N wire) and for older ones (without an N wire). This allows for easy and intuitive replacement of current light switches with intelligent ones.

The device cooperates wirelessly with other sensors and actuators. Such ZigBee cloud communication will save unnecessary breaking of walls and running cables.

Basics of the ZigBee protocol:

• The ZigBee protocol operates on the 2.4 GHz frequency, which propagates well in buildings
• ZigBee connectivity is MESH connectivity, which means that each ZigBee device with full L+N power works as a signal amplifier for other devices. If a remote sensor does not have communication with the ZigBee gateway, it is enough that it has radio communication with another ZigBee device with full L+N power that has communication with the gateway (up to a maximum of 3 devices). The devices work in a mesh chain of connections, which ensures reliability and certainty of the connection
• Devices using the ZigBee protocol connect to the control panel in 0.2 seconds in the event of a state change, and WiFi needs about 5 seconds to connect to the network after a state change. ZigBee devices have a huge advantage when it comes to automating smart rules
• On a WiFi network with 25 devices you will start to experience network issues. You can easily add over 50 devices to the ZigBee hub
• The ZigBee gateway and ZigBee devices allow for much broader and longer storage of parameter data and device history. Door opening history, temperature history, motion detection history saved months ago
• ZigBee communication consumes very little energy, which gives a long battery life.
