The Aqara Doorbell Camera G400 is Aqara’s advanced smart video doorbell that combines high-resolution video monitoring, smart event detection, and smart home integration. The device features a 2K resolution camera with a 165° ultra-wide diagonal viewing angle, allowing the entire area in front of the door—including visitors’ faces and packages placed on the ground—to be visible at once. The camera’s vertical field of view is 137°, providing excellent coverage of the entrance area while minimizing blind spots.

A key advantage of the G400 is that it is Aqara’s first video doorbell designed for continuous operation using PoE or wired power supply. This provides more stable operation than battery-powered models and enables 24/7 continuous video recording. The device supports Wi-Fi 6 dual-band connectivity (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) and can also connect via Ethernet, ensuring stable and low-latency video transmission.

The built-in AI can recognize people, packages, pets, and various events. The system sends automatic notifications to the user and enables intelligent event management. Cloud-based AI services provide additional capabilities such as face and object recognition, while local AI processing ensures faster response times and improved privacy.

The camera features an IP65-rated housing, making it resistant to rain, dust, and changing weather conditions. The built-in microphone and speaker enable two-way communication with visitors. The system also includes an indoor chime unit that provides an audible alert when someone presses the doorbell.

The Aqara G400 integrates with a wide range of smart home platforms. It is fully compatible with Apple HomeKit and HomeKit Secure Video, and also supports Google Home, Amazon Alexa, and Samsung SmartThings integrations. Thanks to RTSP and ONVIF protocol support, it can also be connected to external systems such as NAS servers, VLC players, or Home Assistant.

The device also offers several additional features, including quick response messages, custom ringtone uploads, privacy masking zones, and anti-theft protection. Up to five indoor chime units can be connected to a single doorbell, making it suitable for larger homes or offices.
