The RV-L11-A cleaning robot is an advanced, automatic device that helps keep your home tidy.
The included docking station allows approximately 30 days of maintenance-free vacuuming before the need to replace the dust bag in the station (the floor mopping function may require more frequent refilling of water in the tank).
With the help of the station, the robot charges the built-in battery and empties the dust container.
The battery installed in the device lasts for about 2 hours of continuous operation.
Before it is completely discharged, the robot drives back to the docking station, where the battery is charged.
After charging, the device automatically resumes cleaning from where it left off.
There is a 3L dust bag in the docking station.
The vacuum cleaner works simultaneously in many ways (vacuuming, sweeping, mopping), thanks to which the floor stays clean.
The small size of the robot makes it easy to get under higher furniture.
The device can overcome obstacles up to 2 cm high, which means that floor thresholds, thicker carpets or doormats are not a problem for it.
The “Carpet Boost” function, i.e. increasing the suction power of the vacuum cleaner while traveling over the carpet, allows you to get rid of both dust particles and more difficult impurities (e.g. hair or animal hair) from carpets and floor coverings.
The robot also has the function of cleaning the floor (mopping) using the attached mop holder.
250 ml water tank and zone control of washing intensity allow you to keep all floors clean while optimizing water consumption from the tank.
The device perfectly copes with most situations from everyday life – including cleaning up mud brought on shoes or small amounts of spilled liquids.
For maximum improvement both the apartment mapping process and the subsequent operation of the robot, the device is equipped with a number of sensors.
The heart of the mapping system is a modern LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) system, which uses a head rotating at a speed of 6 rotations per second with a laser and a reflected light sensor.
This system allows you to measure the distance of the robot from 2016 different points in the room in a second, thanks to which navigation in rooms and maps of individual zones of the apartment are extremely accurate.
The above-mentioned system is complemented by a set of distance sensors placed on the front and sides of the robot and additional sensors placed on the bottom to protect the device against hitting the ground too high and falling from a height.
In addition, the front part of the robot is equipped with a contact bumper, thanks to which even if a small obstacle escapes the sensors, there is no risk of damage to the device as a result of a collision.
The robot is fully operated using the IMOU Life mobile application for devices with Android and iOS systems.
Using the application, it is possible to precisely and in detail manage zones (and the intensity and frequency of cleaning for each zone), schedule and task queuing.
In addition, from the application level there is also the possibility of direct remote control of the robot.
