The Interra KNX Heat + Smoke Detector (ITS403-1001) senses the typical indicators of fire — heat and smoke — and sends the corresponding telegram values over the KNX bus in an emergency. It is powered directly from the KNX bus, so no separate power supply is required for installation.

When high temperatures, smoke or fire conditions are detected, the detector's built-in alarm sounds immediately. Once smoke exceeds a preset level, it also sends an early fire warning as a notification to KNX touch panels or a mobile phone via the bus. Its twist-lock mounting system keeps installation simple, while the tamper-resistant design supports long-term, reliable use.
