The Interra Haier ABC Port AC KNX Gateway is installed inside the air conditioner's indoor unit, connecting on one side to the AC's electronic circuit (cable supplied) and on the other directly to the KNX bus, providing complete bi-directional integration of the air conditioner with the building automation system.

The gateway exposes extra communication objects for flexible control and includes 4 logic and 8 converter advanced parameters that can be used for energy savings, configurable scenes and temperature limits. Ambient temperature can be taken from the gateway's input or from another KNX device, and the AC reports error notifications for exceptional cases.
