ZigBee protokols darbojas 2,4 GHz frekvencē, kas labi izplatās ēkās

ZigBee savienojamība ir MESH savienojamība, kas nozīmē, ka katra ZigBee Router ierīce darbojas kā relejs citām ierīcēm. Ja tālvadības sensoram nav sakaru ar ZigBee vārteju, pietiek ar to, ka tam ir radio sakari ar citu ZigBee Router ierīci (pilna jauda), kurai ir sakari ar vārteju.
