1. Scope

These terms govern the sale and installation of smart-home products and related services by I Smart SIA (trading as SmartMāja) to consumers and businesses in Latvia and the European Union. By placing an order you accept these terms.

2. Orders

Quotations are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. An order becomes binding when we issue a written order confirmation. Products that are configured or built to your specification are treated as made-to-order items.

3. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in euro (EUR). For consumers, prices include VAT. Payment is made by bank transfer or card; production or dispatch begins once the agreed payment or deposit is received.

4. Lead time

In-stock products are dispatched within 2 to 5 working days. Made-to-order items, such as custom electrical panels, are produced within 10 to 15 working days, depending on component availability.

5. Delivery

We deliver across Latvia and the European Union. Risk passes to the customer on handover to the carrier or, for installation projects, on completion of the installation.

6. Compliance

Electrical panels are manufactured to CE and EN IEC 61439 standards and are supplied with the corresponding declaration of conformity and test report.

7. Warranty

We provide a 2-year warranty on components, in accordance with the warranty conditions of the respective manufacturers, calculated from the date of delivery.

The warranty becomes void if:

• the panel or any of its devices are combined with equipment that was not supplied by us
• the system is configured, programmed or modified by anyone other than our own specialists
• the wiring connected to the panel was carried out by a third party or another company.

The warranty on a panel covers only the components and assembly inside the panel enclosure. It does not extend to external wiring or installation. If a panel or any equipment is damaged or burns out as a result of faulty external wiring, that damage is not covered by this warranty.

For cameras and other field devices, we accept no responsibility for cables, connectors or other external elements that may be subject to damage from outside the panel.

8. Right of withdrawal and returns

Consumers have the right to withdraw from a distance purchase of a standard, unused product within 14 days, in accordance with EU consumer law. This right does not apply to products that are configured, programmed or built to your individual specification. Defective products are repaired, replaced or refunded in line with your statutory rights.

9. Liability

Our liability is limited to the value of the order, except in cases of intent or gross negligence or where mandatory law provides otherwise. Mandatory consumer-protection rights are not affected by these terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Latvia. Disputes are subject to the competent courts of Latvia, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer-protection rules of the country in which the consumer resides.
