The ATEN VE2812AT-AT-G is a transmitter unit for extending HDMI or VGA video (and associated audio) over a single Cat5e/6 cable using the HDBaseT standard, well beyond the reach of a standard HDMI cable. It supports Power over HDBaseT (PoH), allowing the paired receiver at the display end to be powered over the same cable. It requires a matching ATEN HDBaseT receiver at the display to complete the link, rather than functioning as a display itself.
